Chair - Will Hancock

Will Hancock is a fourth-year student studying Economics and Poetry Writing. He has competed in five collegiate ad-hoc committees, led the UVAMUN travel team, and chaired VICS’s first ever General Assembly. Outside of Model UN, Will acted as the President of the International Relations Organization, VICS's parent organization, served on UVA's Honor Committee, and helps to run Flux Poetry & Spoken Word. He also lives on the Lawn as the Room Seven Resident of the Jefferson Society. In his free time, you can find Will reading or writing, hiking, or watching UVA sports (wahoowa!).

Crisis director - Emmett O’brien

Emmett O'Brien is a fourth-year student from Beaufort, South Carolina, studying in the Politics Honors Program with a minor in French. After serving as VICS Secretary-General last year, he could not be more excited to return to senior staff for this committee! He works as a research assistant on the Presidential Oral History Program at the Miller Center of Public Affairs and has interned with the Crystal Ball newsletter at the UVA Center for Politics. Emmett serves as the Vice President of the International Relations Organization (VICS’s parent organization) and is a member of the Jefferson Literary and Debating Society and the Cereal Club at UVA. In his free time, you can find him hiking, reading a Kurt Vonnegut novel, or avidly watching college basketball (Go Hoos!).
