VICS 30 Secretariat


 

Secretary-General | Feeman Annas

Feeman is a third year from Fairfax and Fredericksburg, Virginia, planning to double major in Cognitive Science and Foreign Affairs! Apart from MUN and, of course, VICS, Feeman can be found playing guitar, practicing dance, and forcing anyone she can find to go on a walk with her. She works and volunteers her time at the UVA Hospital, is on board for the Indian Student Association, and is always taking photos on her digicam (say cheese!). Feeman is always down to try any new food (follow her Beli!!), can probably vibe with anyone's music, and is excited to meet everyone at the best conference in the circuit!

 

Chargé d'Affaires | Zach Geller

Zach is a second-year student from Austin, Texas double-majoring in Politics and Media Studies. He was a Crisis Director for VICS XXIX last year, and has also worked as a senior staffer for VAMUN and has traveled with the UVA Model UN team. Zach also acts as the Historian of the International Relations Organization, writes for the Cavalier Daily, and is the Vice President for Milk of the UVA Cereal Club. In his spare time, he loves watching movies, listening to music, and being performative. 

 

Director-General | Philip Ermanoski

Philip Ermanoski is a second-year from McLean, Virginia, majoring in Economics and Applied Statistics with a minor in Foreign Affairs. Apart from VICS, Philip is the Treasurer of the International Relations Organization and Director of General Assembly Training for the UVAMUN travel team. Elsewhere on Grounds, he is involved in the Global Markets Group, the Jefferson Literary and Debating Society, and the University Judiciary Committee. He looks forward to meeting everyone on Grounds for VICS 30 this spring!

 

USG Conference Affairs | Siddarth Rekhi

Siddarth Rekhi is a second-year from Centreville, Virginia, majoring in Commerce and minoring in Foreign Affairs. He's competed in Model UN for 8 years. Last year, he was a Chair for VICS, and currently serves as Chief of Staff of VAMUN and SG of VIGMUN. Outside of MUN, Siddarth is involved in several public speaking and business clubs on Grounds, and practices martial arts. In his spare time, he can be found plane-spotting or watching F1. He is very excited to meet everyone in March!

USG Logistics | Lauren Hensley

Lauren Hensley is a third-year from McLean, VA, majoring Civil Engineering with a minor in Systems Engineering. She has been a part of UVA Model UN since her freshman year, and is excited to help make VICS 30 successful! Outside of IRO, she is involved with her sorority, Kappa Delta, Society of Women in Engineering, and the Jefferson Literary and Debating Society. In her free time, Lauren loves to hang out with her friends, read silly little mangas, thrift, and go to concerts (ask me about sweat tour PLEASE). 

Counselor to the Secretariat | Emmett O’Brien

Emmett O'Brien is a fourth-year student from Beaufort, South Carolina, studying in the Politics Honors Program with a minor in French. He currently works as an editorial assistant on the Presidential Oral History Program at the Miller Center of Public Affairs and has served as an intern on the Crystal Ball newsletter at the UVA Center for Politics. Emmett serves as the Vice President of the International Relations Organization (VICS’s parent organization) and is a member of the Jefferson Literary and Debating Society and the Cereal Club at UVA. In his free time, you can find him hiking, reading a Kurt Vonnegut novel, or avidly watching college basketball (Go Hoos!).

 

Chief of Staff | Ingrid Schaefer

Ingrid Schaefer is a 2nd year from St. Mary’s, Maryland and is a major in Foreign Affairs and minor in Russian. She has been doing MUN since 5th grade and is on the UVA MUN team. Outside of MUN she is in the Washington Society, an editor for the Virginia Journal of International Affairs, and loves going to house shows and being involved in the UVA music scene. She is so excited to support VICS this year!

 

Director-General | Anirudh Chinthakindi

Anirudh (Ani) Chinthakindi is a first-year student from McLean, Virginia, intending on majoring in Neuroscience with a minor in Foreign Policy. He currently works as an Undergraduate Researcher in the Kapur Lab at UVA Health and a Madison House UVA Health Volunteer at the Cardiology Unit. Outside of IRO, Ani is a member of the Phi Delta Epsilon Pre-Medical Fraternity. In his free time, you can find him working out, reading a Brandon Sanderson novel, or playing basketball.

 

USG Media & Design | Saehee Pérez

Saehee Pérez is a third-year from McLean, VA, majoring in Government. She previously served as the Chief of Staff for VICS 28 and the USG of Media & Design for VICS 29. Apart from VICS, she is involved with VAMUN (UVA’s high school conference), Student Council, and Cereal Club at UVA. Outside of class, Saehee loves café-hopping, late night drives (she can’t drive), and is involved in youth policy advocacy.

USG Logistics | Stephanie Dinh

Stephanie Dinh is a first-year student from Los Angeles, California, intending on majoring in Global Justice and Security and minoring in Arabic. She works as a Youth Activism Organizer at Rhizome, and an Administrative Director at the National High School MUN Conference. When not involved in UVA’s IRO, Stephanie is involved with the VSA, the OYFA, and Student Council. In her free time, you can find her biking around Charlottesville, lifting weights, or popping off on Depop.
