Note: It is VICS tradition that SG Ad-Hoc is a more serious topic for experienced delegates. For example, the previous SG Ad-hoc committees included: US Bureau of Industrial Standards (1905), Cuban Missile Crisis, and 1984.

 
 

Chair | Rylan Pearsall

Rylan Pearsall is a fourth year majoring in Cognitive Science. She has been involved in Model UN and IRO for all four years at UVA, and has chaired multiple conferences. Outside of Model UN, she runs with UVA club running and is in two research labs focusing on neuroscience and MRI tractography. With her free time, you will find her cooking with her friends, hiking around Charlottesville, or just reading (give her book recommendations!). She is so excited to see everyone at UVA this spring!

Crisis Director | Kyle Widmark

Kyle Widmark is a fourth-year from Long Beach, California studying history with a minor in government.  He has both competed in and helped run Model UN committees for the past six years, including being the ACD for VICS XXVI Ad-Hoc Committee of the Secretary-General.  Kyle previously served as Director of Crisis Committee training for UVAโ€™s MUN travel team.  Outside of MUN, you can find Kyle reading, running, or working out in the Warner Hall basement.  He is excited to be the CD of the Ad-Hoc Committee of the Secretary-General to finish his MUN experience.
