Naiessha Kaur Nayyar is a second year studying aerospace engineering / astrophysics as an Echols Scholar from Mumbai, India. She has worked on multiple NASA sponsored initiatives and projects, and actively engages in the upliftment of women and children in rural areas in India via space tech. Having demonstrated her passion for diplomacy at Asia’s largest science and technology festival at IIT-Bombay, she continues to champion creativity, innovation and inclusivity. A social butterfly at heart, Naiessha is always up for a debate on Inception vs. Interstellar or a chat about Bollywood music—preferably over a cup of chai (her love language).
